BRADLEY xx explores the existing relationship between Glasgow-based artists and the artist-run space Neoterismoi Toumazou in Nicosia, Cyprus for the Glasgow International Festival.

 

Orestis Lazouras opens his heart to the world, a sensitive yet fragile experience accompanied by Marina Xenofontos’ visuals and the backing vocals of Maria Toumazou.  Orestis Lazouras is a sweet romantic boy who knows how to love, what some may even call “a great friend”.  Orestis song writing career started from life experiences that needed to be heard.  He sings about love, friendship and family.

 

MARIA†. editions presents three new projects. “CURRENT RESIDENT”, a collaborative book by Kenny Komer and Marysia Gacek; “It’s Michael”, a collection of drawings and watercolors by Kelli Sims; and “GEE”, a poetry collection by Maria Toumazou.

 

As part of BRADLEY xx Neoterismoi Toumazou launches the limited edition NEO TOUM OFFICIAL FOOTBALL SCARF and two books, “We are not alone – We are a fly in the milk of infinity” by Marina Xenofontos and “Family vacation” by Kim Shish.  These products contribute to an alternative art funding model and are part of a larger concern that resonates with an obsolete local consumer industry which had once sustained the space.
